I need a break. Sheepshead Bay isn't as peaceful as I thought. All these months, I thought they were donations to some cancer organization. If I had known what was in those boxes...
"How long have you known about this, Quinn?" I wasn't paying much attention to Abbott. I had too much on my mind to think about. The boxes full of powder, Noel's brains splattering on the pavement, outrunning those thugs, and now I gotta deal with this crap. I didn't give Abbott a response. The man was panicking; pacing in fact. I can't blame him, but I decided not to show it. "ANSWER ME, DAMMIT!" He was asking me a question I couldn't possibly answer.
"I'm telling you, Abbott, I just found out what was in those boxes today."

It was an early December morning. Most people here in NYC are off to work. I walk along on the sidewalk, acting casual and smoking a Marlboro. Coffee in one hand, suitcase in the other, I make my way through the Brooklyn neighborhood. My coat may be thick but Jack Frost is still biting my nose. I make my way to an old, rundown office building. It was light enough for me to make my way to the stairs nearby, but still dark enough being this early in the morning. I make my way to the roof.
